Design Details: Walk-in Pantry

While this may look like a new kitchen project, these photos are just of the pantry.  Big pantry, right?  It has a sink, dishwasher, full sized freezer, wall oven and a warming drawer.  Plus beautiful marble countertops, glass front cabinets for china storage and tons of open shelving for food.
The view from the kitchen into the pantry.  The homeowner's dishes and serving pieces are displayed beautifully in the glass front cabinets.
A round window becomes the focal point over the pantry sink.
There's a lot of cabinet storage space and a long run of counter top.
It's not just pretty, but functional too.  Open shelves for food items and roll-out drawers for small kitchen appliances are hidden from view.
My favorite part?  The pantry is located behind the kitchen range and we placed custom bulls-eye glass windows at the sides of the range provide a little glimpse into the pantry beyond.

Here are some photos of other walk-in pantries I've designed:

  1. What tile did you use in this pantry and kitchen? I love the longer shaped subway tile. I am doing a remodel and would love to use a similar tile. It is beautifully done! WOW!!!

  2. Wow! one can only dream of such a space. Of course my fav is that round window. Maybe you will share the rest of that gorgeous space with us. If I was to do it all over again, a walk-in pantry would be a must.
Function and form are working beautifully!

  3. Great work! I too, love the round window above the sink. I'm curious where you go the extra thick butcher block cutting boards on either side of the sink. Thanks!

  4. Hey Molly,
Your choice of paint colours are always soft and serene and wondered if you would consider sharing your fav paint colours with us?

  5. LOVELY PICS:) I really like your blog and I want to follow, do you have twitter or FB??

  6. The kitchen cabinet and pantry looks lovely without much clutter. The design is simple yet it speaks of class, all credit goes to the round window.
